Routine cleaning
Remove grit with a soft broom, dust mop or vacuum before wet cleaning. Use a neutral or mildly alkaline cleaner compatible with the coating. Rinse residue that could leave the surface dull or slippery.
Spills and chemicals
Clean oil, fuel, solvents, acids and dyes promptly. Chemical resistance is product-specific and exposure time matters. Do not assume a coating is immune to every household or industrial chemical.
Vehicles and equipment
Allow the full vehicle cure window before parking. Use trays under leaking equipment and protective pads under cabinets. Lift heavy objects rather than dragging sharp metal across the finish.
When maintenance is needed
Loss of sheen, local wear or fine scratching may be addressed with professional cleaning or a compatible maintenance topcoat. Delamination, moisture blisters or moving cracks require diagnosis rather than cosmetic recoating.
